Mura is a Brazilian street artist living in Portugal. She started painting at a very young age, following in the footsteps of her artist grandmother. Her research focuses mainly on exploring the relationship between man and nature, with a desire to highlight the often neglected characteristics of flowers and plants. At the Hotel Marzia, she chose to paint orchids, a tribute to an indigenous flower of the Caorle lagoon.

Giulia Yoshimura (aka Mura) was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1997, to parents of Japanese origin. She currently resides and works as a visual artist and muralist in Portugal, where she is studying painting at the University of Fine Arts in Porto. Her artistic practice focuses on researching the connection between plants and humans, exploring the often overlooked peculiarities in flowers and plants. Using a wide range of scales, techniques and materials, ranging from canvases to large urban murals, Mura creates works that invite viewers to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature. Mura has created murals in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, France and Germany. In 2022, she won the prestigious award as the winner of the Urban Art category at the National Award for Young Creators in Portugal.
